On Ash Wednesday of 2008,
Earth Ministry started a
blog to document the
staff's efforts to give up one or more environmentally destructive behaviors
for Lent. In April, we covered Earth Month related topics. But
we are not done yet! The Earth Ministry
blog will continue on with
reflections, event recaps, actions items, and sundry musings about faith and
the environment. We invite you to join us in the journey as we explore
topics close to our hearts!

Rev.
Carla Pryne, Earth Ministry Co-Founder, and LeeAnne Beres, Earth Ministry
Executive Director, invite you to join Earth Ministry's Eco-Tour
to the Holy Land.
We will visit amazing biblical and archeological sites and gain first-hand
knowledge of the region's most pressing environmental and social issues. We
will meet people who call Israel, Palestine, and Jordan home, and discover
how these communities are working together to foster peace and ecological
sustainability. Our trip will include guest lectures from representatives
of faith and environmental groups and moments of prayer and reflection.
Please join us and experience for yourself the wonder of this amazing land.
More information is available in the
