Climate Change

"There is a clear scientific consensus that our earth is warming....There is also a growing religious consensus that climate change is one of the largest moral issues of our time.  People of faith are called to care for all of creation.  Global warming puts both human health and the health of all earth's creatures at risk.

...From a moral and ethical perspective, it is unacceptable to allow global arming to continue unchecked.  The Christian community is organizing to combat it, nationally and here in Washington, and politicians are listening.

...We are ready and able to tackle global warming, trusting that our Creator is acting through us and countless others, seen and unseen.  We have faith God will lift up and sustain us on this important mission."
