Every January, the
Priorities for a Healthy
Washington,
offer a
Legislative Workshop.
At this workshop, you will learn about the four environmental priorities chosen
for that legislative session. You'll hear from
legislators, environmental policy experts, members of the media and others
regarding the community's Priorities for a Healthy Washington.
Earth Ministry is a
member of the Priorities for a Healthy Washington.
Take Action!
Every year, there are
two opportunities to join Earth Ministry in making your voice heard in the
Washington State Legislature! More than ever, it is important for
people of faith to influence decision making in the State Capitol where ever
you live. Take action and join us to hear from legislators, learn how
to lobby, and meet face-to-face with your elected officials.
Environmental Lobby Day
Join the state's leading conservation
groups and hundreds of citizen lobbyists to push for the passage of the
Priorities for a Healthy Washington legislative package. Lobby
Day is a great way to get involved, learn more, and connect with hundreds of
others.
Faith Advocacy Day
This is an open event - all people of
faith and their friends are welcome to attend Faith Advocacy Day in
Olympia. Come worship together and learn about important legislative
issues at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Olympia. Then
move to the capitol rotunda for an exciting really, meet your legislators,
and let your voice be heard.
